Police Super Complaint

Paladin welcomes the recommendations report by the Independent Office of Police Conduct, His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services and the College of Policing in response to the super-complaint on stalking.

We welcome alongside our partners in the National Stalking Consortium the recommendations to forces including the need to review and update police stalking training provision and for this training to be co-delivered with stalking experts.

Paladin also welcome the recommendation to PCCs to review their whether they have the right specialists stalking services to support victims of stalking in their areas.

Statement from Chief Operating Officer

"The findings and recommendations from the police super complaint highlight the need that more training and resources are required to ensure police force areas are understanding stalking to ensure we are improving the response to victims.
Moving forward we would like to see a commitment from all police force areas regarding their commitment to stalking victims and how all those in the CJS can work together. Paladin also welcome the recommendation to PCCs to review whether they have the right specialists stalking services to support victims of stalking in their areas."
