Salary: £22,500 8% pensions contribution
Hours: 36.5 hours per week
Location: This post is based in East Lancashire
Outline of Role: Paladin National Stalking Advocacy Service employs a number of Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworks (ISACs) who offer support for high risk victims who have been the subject of stalking, support them through the criminal justice system and offer relevant advice and advocacy. The ISAC will be responsible for providing an efficient, effective trauma informed response to victims of stalking across England and Wales. This will include assessing an individual’s needs based on the risk at that time and ensuring that the victim’s voice is heard locally and at appropriate multi-agency or professional meetings.
The role will also include working with professionals and local agencies to ensure a coordinated response is in place and all relevant agencies work together effectively.
The qualities we are looking for include;
- Good understanding of stalking including the impact of domestic abuse, sexual violence and gender based violence on victim/survivors and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of stalking, both primary and secondary victims.
- Understand the impact of trauma and ways of supporting victim/survivors affected by trauma.
- Working with victim/survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence and/or gender based violence
